Pruksa Real Estate grants “Pruksa Scholarship” in the higher education level for 14 consecutive year
Mr. Thongma Vijitpongpun, Chief Executive Officer, presented the 14th “Pruksa Scholarship” 2015 to students in the Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering from 7 academic institutions including Chulalongkorn University, Kasetsart University, Chiang Mai University, Thammasat University, Mahidol University, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, and King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang. A total of 29 scholarships were granted, amounting to 1,150,000 Baht.
The “Pruksa Scholarship” project is considered one of the CSR activities that the Company has always been placing great emphasis upon for 14 consecutive years. The main aim of the project is to support education for students who excel in their studies but lack financial support, as defined in the Company’s corporate social responsibility policies, particularly in the education and youth development scope. Prior to this year’s grants, the Company gave a total of 509 scholarships, equivalent to 2.58 million Baht. With this year’s grants, the Company gave a cumulative total of 538 scholarships, totaling 3.73 million Baht.
