Accelerate Impact with PRUKSA empowers social enterprises to make sustainable profits from their business operation while also creating a positive impact on society. Beyond that, the project also intends to foster a “Live well Stay well” experience, reduce income inequality, and enhance the quality of life for elderly people.

Every participating social enterprise has the opportunity to receive 600,000 THB in funding from Pruksa Holding Public Company Limited. They are also eligible to receive additional support from the Vijitpongpun Fund and have the chance to gain in-depth knowledge about business development from our experienced executives and mentors throughout the Accelerate Impact project.

Accelerate Impact with PRUKSA Season 1

In Season 1, Accelerate Impact aimed to support social enterprises in the following fields: 1. Businesses that promote upskilling and reskilling. These businesses should aim to enhance the quality of life and livelihood of individuals with untapped potential, lack of funding, or inadequate skills. The goal is to ensure that they can secure employment and provide for themselves and their families. 2. Elderly Care. These businesses should focus on the physical and mental well-being of elderly people, offering innovative solutions, employment opportunities, or proactive care solutions to help seniors lead purposeful lives.

Thai Start-ups that Received Support in Season 1

B2W CO., LTD

findTEMP and TEMP are platforms for enterprises seeking qualified part-time workers. These platforms leverage automatic systems and data processing to help enterprises reduce labor costs and simplify the recruitment and training process. Additionally, these platforms provide opportunities for younger generations to earn a good income with some flexibility and gain new work experience.

Mr. Thanawat Tiantongnukul, the co-founder of findTEMP and TEMP, shared his opinions about the project. He said, "I am pleased that Pruksa recognizes the value of social enterprises and contributes to making a greater impact. This initiative provides opportunities for students in need of funding to earn money from jobs while offering businesses enthusiastic workers. Our participation in this project has strengthened our determination towards our goals. The project not only educates us but also follows up on our application of business knowledge to successfully develop our business.

Additionally, the project provides valuable feedback that sharpens our vision. Thanks to this project, tasks that were initially projected to take one year have been achieved within just 3-4 months, exceeding our targets.”

BUDDY HOMECARE SOCIAL ENTERPRISE COMPANY LIMITED

“Matching young people who need educational support with elderly individuals in need of caregiving.”

Buddy Homecare is an enterprise that sends staff to provide in-home care for elderly individuals. Beyond just tending to their health needs, they also offer companionship. Notably, Buddy Homecare trains ethnic youth to work as caregivers for seniors. Buddy Homecare earns income from services provided to elderly people with purchasing power and allocates some profit to support elderly individuals living in poverty in collaboration with local communities in Chiang Mai.

Mr. Janevit Wisojsongkram, the co-founder of Buddy Homecare, said, "Co-founders of a social enterprise typically have many responsibilities. Limited funding inhibits the ability to make a meaningful impact on society. We are grateful that a major enterprise like Pruksa recognizes the value of our work. Initially, I assumed Pruksa would only provide financial support, but upon further discussion, I realized that Pruksa is dedicated to addressing the root causes of social problems. Pruksa genuinely aims to enhance the potential of social enterprises. We are delighted to receive guidance from mentors from a large company like Pruksa. They have been offering us valuable lessons and advice and helping us refine our business model to achieve sustainable growth. This truly marks a crucial step forward for us."

VULCAN COALITION COMPANY LIMITED

Vulcan Coalition is a pioneering provider of AI Technology Driven by Disabilities, both in industries and research. This enterprise champions digital upskilling and reskilling, opening doors to enhanced employment prospects for people with disabilities. It is notably the world's first AI that was co-developed by individuals with visual impairments.

Miss Methawee Thatsanasateankit, the co-founder of Vulcan Coalition, spoke about the opportunities earned by joining the project, "When I heard that we were selected, I felt that this was a very good opportunity for us. We were about to launch a new service that allows disabled people to help businesses answer customers’ questions with the help of AI. Thanks to Accelerate Impact, we have been guided by experienced coaches who help us sharpen our business vision. Initially, we were not clear about our target market, but now we can clearly specify our target customers, understand their needs, and differentiate ourselves from other players in the market. We also earn funds to carry out our projects, such as training courses for disabled persons and work platforms for disabled persons, in order to improve their quality of life."

LOCAL ALIKE COMPANY LIMITED

Local Alike is a social enterprise that focuses on community-based tourism, provides a unique Thai local travel experience, and aims to create positive change for local communities.

Miss Orntheera Rattanataya, Chief Financial Officer of Local Alike, expressed gratitude to Pruksa for providing the opportunity for Local Alike to participate in the project. She mentioned, “When we applied for the project, our primary goal was to secure funding to develop a new website to promote our new service. However, the project not only offered financial support but also valuable business advice. The experts from Pruksa provided guidance that significantly benefited our business. Given our limited technological knowledge and digital marketing insights, Pruksa’s e-commerce team offered valuable advice in these areas, which saved us a substantial amount of time. Additionally, Pruksa’s team accompanied us on field trips to collect data to improve our services. We were highly impressed by their support.”

The project in Season 2 supports social enterprises that focus on the following areas: 1. Promoting physical and mental health; 2. Reducing inequality and promoting necessary skills to increase work opportunities; 3. Reducing carbon emissions and promoting natural resource efficiency.

Thai Start-ups that Receive Support in Season 2

PHARMCARE GROUP COMPANY LIMITED

PHARMCARE has developed a telepharmacy platform that allows community members to easily and affordably access high-quality pharmacies and receive advice from local pharmacists. This platform also helps community pharmacies generate sustainable income. PHARMCARE has been creating social impact in many aspects. During the time of PHARMCARE's involvement in the project, patients have saved over 560,000 THB in travel costs to medical institutions. Pharmacies located near local communities have seen a profit increase of 260,000 THB. Additionally, there has been a business growth value of over 150,000 THB.

LABMOVE COMPANY LIMITED

Labmove offers at-home blood tests conducted by licensed medical technologists. The blood samples are then sent to hospitals, saving patients valuable travel time. This service can be accessed from the comfort of one's home.

After the incubation stage under the project, Labmove was able to adapt its business model to cater to a wider range of patients, resulting in a 25% business expansion over the three-month project period. Within one year, it is expected that Labmove will be able to make a significant social impact, as follows.

  • saving over 12 million THB by avoiding the cost of moving as many as 5,000 bedridden patients.
  • preventing the patients’ family members from taking time off from work, thus saving 5.5 million THB annually because they do not lose income.
  • reducing over 150,000 kilometers per year of traveling to hospitals.
  • 40 patients per day not having to travel to hospitals to receive blood tests, thus reducing hospital crowdedness.
  • reducing 3,750 work hours for medical staff.
  • increasing patient and family satisfaction by 90%.

WONGPHAI COMPANY LIMITED

WONGPHAI produces KN Biochar using agricultural waste from bamboo farmers, helping protect the environment, generate carbon credits, and boost the local economy.

It is projected that within one year, WONGPHAI will build a societal, economic, and environmental impact of over 2.5 million THB in value. It will reduce carbon dioxide and PM 2.5 from agricultural activities. Moreover, by joining Accelerate Impact, WONGPHAI also contributes to accelerating the development of Oven Version 2.0 to produce wood vinegar that helps increase agricultural yields instead of just focusing on Biochar production and carbon credit management.

AGNOS HEALTH COMPANY LIMITED

Agnos Health has developed a medical AI that analyzes patients' symptoms and recommends appropriate medical services. This technology aims to reduce hospital overcrowding and improve timely access to medical services. The latest evolution of this technology is the Smart OPD Platform. Accelerate Impact helps hospitals and patients access Agnos's services more easily through hospitals’ LINE OAs.

It is projected that within one year, this platform will help save time and costs for "green" patients with minimal symptoms, potentially saving over 3.8 million THB in value. Additionally, it is anticipated to reduce losses of 280,000 THB in value for "red" patients with severe symptoms and increase income by over 1.6 million THB for local pharmacies.

ทีมแล็บมูฟ ผู้ให้บริการเจาะเลือดถึงที่พักอาศัย โดยนักเทคนิคการเเพทย์ที่มีใบประกอบวิชาชีพ สามารถนำตัวอย่างมาส่งที่โรงพยาบาลต้นสังกัด ช่วยให้ผู้ป่วยไม่ต้องเสียเวลาเดินทาง และเข้าถึงบริการได้แม้อยู่ที่บ้าน โดยหลังจากการบ่มเพาะภายใต้โครงการ ทีมแล็บมูฟได้ปรับวิธีการขยายเครือข่ายเพื่อให้รองรับผู้ป่วยได้ทุกราย ทำให้มีการขยายธุรกิจเพิ่มขึ้นถึง 25% ตลอดระยะเวลาที่เข้าร่วมโครงการ เพิ่มโอกาสการร่วมเป็นพันธมิตรกับโรงพยาบาลอีก 6 แห่ง และเพิ่มจำนวนผู้รับบริการอีก 30% หรือ 15,000 นัดหมายต่อปี

Episode 2: Agnos Like Father, Like Daughter

ทีมแอ็กนอสเฮลท์ (Agnos Health) ผู้พัฒนา AI ด้านการแพทย์ โดยใช้ AI วิเคราะห์อาการป่วยด้วยตนเอง และแนะนำผู้ป่วยไปยังบริการที่เหมาะสม สามารถช่วยลดความแออัดในโรงพยาบาล และเพิ่มโอกาสในการเข้าถึงบริการทางการแพทย์อย่างทันท่วงที โดยหลังจากการต่อยอดธุรกิจภายใต้โครงการทำให้ผู้ป่วยสามารถเข้าถึงบริการของแอ็กนอสได้ง่ายยิ่งขึ้นผ่านช่องทาง LINE OA ของโรงพยาบาล ส่งผลให้มีผู้ใช้งานเพิ่มขึ้นหลายหมื่นราย ช่วยประหยัดเวลาและค่าใช้จ่ายของผู้ป่วยเคสสีเขียวที่มีอาการเพียงเล็กน้อยและไม่จำเป็นต้องเข้ารับการรักษาในโรงพยาบาลมากกว่า 3.8 ล้านบาท ลดการสูญเสียสำหรับผู้ป่วยเคสสีแดงที่มีอาการรุนแรงไปกว่า 300,000 บาท และเพิ่มรายได้ให้กับร้านยา 1.6 ล้านบาท

ทีมฟาร์มแคร์ ผู้พัฒนาแฟลตฟอร์ม Telepharmacy ที่ช่วยให้คนในชุมชนเข้าถึงร้านยาที่มีคุณภาพได้อย่างสะดวก รวดเร็ว ประหยัดค่าใช้จ่าย จากคำแนะนำของเภสัชกรร้านยาในชุมชน และยังช่วยส่งเสริมให้ร้านยาชุมชนเติบโตสร้างรายได้อย่างยั่งยืน ซึ่งหลังจากการต่อยอดธุรกิจภายใต้โครงการ ฟาร์มแคร์สามารถสร้างรายได้ให้กับร้านยามากกว่า 2.6 แสนบาทต่อเดือน และยังช่วยแบ่งเบาภาระค่าใช้จ่ายจากการเดินทางไปยังสถานพยาบาลได้มากกว่า 5.6 แสนบาท
